Cablecam

This is our Cablecam setup, we have 2 x 500 meters of rope, for specific operations longer rope can be ordered in but this may take 2-3 weeks. We usually use the FS 700 or the Red Epic for this setup but any camera from 2-5kg can be used. It is a pretty easy setup, we use one rope and 2 Kenyon gyros this gives us allot of flexibility and a steady pictured even in winds up to 15 ms.

As we only use one rope we can set this up in 20 minutes if there are no obstacles in the way. The rigging time depends allot on the location that you will shoot. There are some advantages with the cable cam, we can set this up really close at one point and further away later in the shot. Maximum angle of the rope is about 15 degrees, this means that you sometimes need a lift or pole in one or two ends.

If you have a specific line or track you want to follow several times the Cablecam is the ideal tool. As always you have a directors monitor where you can see the actual picture. If there is need for a direct link to a live production this can be sorted.

With this cablecam system you get som really interesting dolly moves and camera angles witch you can choose from during the production.
